	"BEYOND INFINITY" - THE ART OF M.C. ESCHER July 17th 2004 - November 3rd 2005 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery "Herakleidon, Experience in Visual Arts" opened its doors with an exhibition of works by the leading Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher (1898-1972), a defining presence in 20th century art.

	VICTOR VASARELY "THE ABSOLUTE EYE" November 11th 2005 - September 10th 2006 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery After the success of the exhibition "Beyond Infinity" - The Art of M.C.Escher, the Museum Herakleidon, Experience in Visual Arts proceeded with the presentation of the Hungarian-born French artist Victor Vasarely (1906-1997), internationally recognized as one of the most important artists of the 20th century. The exhibition, with the title Victor Vasarely "The Absolute Eye" commemorated the centennial of his birth and was on display from November 11th 2005 until September 10th 2006. The exhibition consisted of 3 phases.

	CAROL WAX " SHADOWPLAY" September 15th - November 25th 2006 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery From September 15th until November 25th 2006 the private museum Herakleidon, Experience in Visual Arts presented the exhibition, Carol Wax "Shadowplay" with 100 works from the museum's collection. Carol Wax, born in 1953, in New York City, is an internationally recognized artist who has worked both on paper and on canvas, but is best known for her mezzotint engravings. Her prints are in numerous museum collections.

	BONHAMS "THE GREEK SALE" November 28th - 30th 2006 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery Exhibition of 19th - 20th century paintings The international fine art auction house Bonhams, in co-operation with Art Expertise offered for sale over 200 carefully chosen paintings and works depicting Greek subjects by 19th and 20th century Greek and Foreign artists. The paintings to be auctioned came from private collections in Greece, as well as abroad.

	CONSTANTIN XENAKIS "STRUCTURES AND CODES" December 8th 2006 - April 29th 2007 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The research of Constantin Xenakis is well known in Greece, as well as abroad, through solo shows and a considerable bibliography.

	ADOLF LUTHER (1912-1990),"THE FASCINATION OF LIGHT" May 10th - September 9th 2007 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The museum is exhibiting 60 pieces of art in the exhibition including (light objects, paintings, drawings and photos.) The exhibition presents Adolf Luther with one of his famous environments "The Laser Space" (1970) and integrations like the "Sine Curve" (1984) and the "Suspended Lenses" (1976) which is exhibited in the courtyard. The exhibit shows the development of the artist from 1942 to 1990, from his first paintings to his great concave mirror objects.

	FRANCESCO SCAVULLO (1929 - 2004) «CELEBRITY PORTRAITS» September 14th - December 2nd 2007 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The private Museum Herakleidon, Experience in Visual Arts in cooperation with the Francesco Scavullo Foundation and the Motion Picture Group www.scavulloeditions.com, presented from September 14th-December 2nd 2007, for the first time in Greece, one of America's greatest photographers and portraitists, Francesco Scavullo (1929 - 2004, New York). The exhibition included 90 of his most famous photographs and took place during the 14th International Month of Photography.

	TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AND THE BELLE EPOQUE IN PARIS AND IN ATHENS December 6th 2007 - May 5th 2008 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Museum Herakleidon presents the exhibition "TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AND THE BELLE EPOQUE IN PARIS AND IN ATHENS" from December 6th 2007 until May 5th 2008. At the center of this exhibition is a rare collection of approximately 100 original works on paper by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, which the organizers have placed in the historical, social, artistic, and aesthetic context of the time (1800 to the beginning of the 20th century). Furthermore, there has been an effort to approximate the prevailing historical and artistic conditions of urban Athens of the same era, with the goal of revealing the influence of the French Belle Epoque on the social and artistic life of Athens and to establish a number of obvious parallels.

	RENEWAL-EXTENSION OF THE EXHIBITION "TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AND THE BELLE EPOQUE IN PARIS AND IN ATHENS" May 6th 2008 - October 5th 2008 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The great interest from the museum's visitors as well as the growing collection (17 new acquisitions) has encouraged the Herakleidon Museum to proceed with an extension of the present exhibition "TOULOUSE-LAUTREC AND THE BELLE EPOQUE IN PARIS AND IN ATHENS" from May 6th until October 5th 2008.

	M.C. ESCHER (1898-1972) "FROM DRAWING TO MASTERPIECE" - First Phase: "Period of Discovery" until 11/1/2009 October 10th 2008 - January 11th 2009 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The founders of the Herakleidon Museum, Paul and Anna-Belinda Firos, in cooperation with the owner of one of the largest collections of archival material and works of M.C.Escher, are organizing and curating the exhibition Maurits Cornelis Escher "From Drawing to Masterpiece". The exhibition will be on display from October 10th 2008 until November 15th 2009.

	M.C. ESCHER (1898-1972) "FROM DRAWING TO MASTERPIECE" - Second Phase: "Italian Period" until 18/4/2009 January 17th 2009 - April 18th 2009 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Herakleidon Museum, as of January 17th 2009 will proceed with the presentation of the second phase of the exhibition "From Drawing to Masterpiece" highlighting the Italian Period of the artist's work. The second phase will be on display for three months, until April 18th 2009 and includes about 80 exhibits.

	M.C. ESCHER (1898-1972) "FROM DRAWING TO MASTERPIECE" - Third Phase: "Unknown Escher" until 2/8/2009 April 25th 2009 - August 2nd 2009 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Herakleidon Museum, as of April 25th 2009 proceeded with the presentation of the third phase of the exhibition "From Drawing to Masterpiece" highlighting the unknown side of the artist's work. The third phase was on display for three months, until August 2nd 2009.

	M.C. ESCHER (1898-1972) "FROM DRAWING TO MASTERPIECE" - Fourth Phase: "Escher in Color" until 15/11/2009 August 22nd 2009 - November 15th 2009 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Herakleidon Museum, as of August 22nd 2009, presented the fourth and final phase of the exhibition "From Drawing to Masterpiece", highlighting the way M.C. Escher used color in his work. This fourth phase, "Escher in Color", was on display until November 15th 2009.

	"THE COMPLETE SCULPTURES OF EDGAR DEGAS" November 27th, 2009 - August 14th, 2010 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Herakleidon Museum announces the opening of the exhibition "The Complete Sculptures of Edgar Degas", which will be on show from November 27th 2009 until August 14th 2010. The exhibition presents all seventy-four bronze sculptures of Edgar Degas including his most important one "The Little Dancer, Aged Fourteen". These bronzes are on loan to the Museum by the M.T. Abraham Center for the Visual Arts.

HERAKLEIDON MUSEUM'S SUMMER HOURS August 15th, 2010 - September 2nd, 2011 Exhibit Details & Photo Gallery The Museum will be closed from 15/8 until 2/9/2010. It will welcome its visitors on 3/9/2010 with the new exhibition "WOMAN AS MUSE, 1900-1950".
